Transport yourself back to the giddy days of the 1980’s when the baseball-card collecting hobby was smoking but good and the bevy of card manufacturers came up with the nifty idea of extending the market by producing stand-alone boxed sets that added handsomely to the bottom line and yielded zillions of new cards of the biggest names in the game. Topps and Fleer did their part with boxed “Traded” sets that were essentially extensions of the companies’ mainstream issues; newcomers Donruss and Sportflics figured out yet another way to cash in on the rookie card craze with boxed “Rookies” sets, with the former mimicking Donruss’ design of the regular issue (different background colors) and the latter employing the popular 3-D printing technology that had been used initially by Kellogg’s in the previous decade. So here they all are, in boxes that are virtually Nr-Mt to Mt or even better condition and with the untouched, pristine cards inside potentially even better than that. The breakdown: Three (3) boxes 1986 Sportflics Rookies Magic Motion (50 cards plus 34 Trivia cards in each); One box of 1986 Sportflics Decade Greats (126 Magic Motion cards and 51 Trivia cards); Four (4) boxes of 1986 Donruss Rookies (56 cards plus 15-piece Aaron Puzzle); Two (2) boxes of 1987 Donruss Rookies (56 cards plus 15-piece Clemente Puzzle); 1986 Topps Traded (132 count); Two (2) boxes of 1987 Topps Traded (132 count); 1986 Fleer Traded (132 count with 22 Stickers); and two (2) boxes of 1987 Fleer Traded (132 count), both with original cellophane.
