This is a nice array of cards, most prominently from the iconic 1952 Topps Baseball issue, certainly the most coveted and important postwar baseball card issue. The group includes more than two dozen from 1952, found here in a very collectible condition range, and three cards from 1953 Topps, most notably with Hall of Famer Phil Rizzuto. The final element of the lot includes a 1950-52 Royal Deserts card of Stan Musial and a Poor condition 1949 Leaf Jackie Robinson card. Here’s the breakdown: 1952 Topps (26) – Most are Very Good, with some exceptions noted – No. 4, 9, 10, 12 (VG-Ex), 14 (2, Ex and Good), 27, 32, 34, 35, 38, 42 (Fair), 44 (VG-Ex), 51, 56, 57, 62 (2), 66, 68, 70 (2), 76 (Good), 108 (Ex), 114 (Ex-Mt) and 130 (VG-Ex); 1953 Topps (3) – No. 110 (VG-Ex), 114 Rizzuto (Ex) and 117 (Ex); 1950-52 Royal Deserts Stan Musial (“Musial batted” version), with a ragged handcut; 1949 Leaf Jackie Robinson – Poor, with borders trimmed away, an incomplete card.
