Presented here is a complete set from 1973 Topps Baseball, the final year that Topps issued cards in individual series over the course of spring and summer, and ostensibly the final year of that tradition of extended distribution that had been the hallmark of the firm for more than two decades. This example of the 1973 set is in a condition range often typically found in older collections, generally Very Good to Excellent, with some above and below and the emphasis to the lower end of the range at Very Good. This grouping has perhaps a couple of dozen cards that might rise above the range to Ex-Mt, and perhaps a similar number that fall below to Good. The overall centering is fairly typical for the issue, with some off-center cards and miscuts. The Hall of Famers and stars generally fall within the broader condition range, with exceptions noted below. Ten of the cards in the set have autographs affixed.
