This is a blazing, Near-Mint and better complete set of the 1975 Fleer Pioneers of Baseball, the sepia-toned photographs of mostly Hall of Famers and great stars of the pre-World War I that constituted a unique look at the early game and many of its greatest stars. In this extraordinarily high-grade example of this issue, each of the oversized 2 ½-by-4-inch cards are slabbed and graded by PSA. Every card is a minimum of PSA 7, with the 10 cards that graded above the range listed below, including a pair of Gem Mint monsters from Mike Kelly and Cy Young. The breakdown: No. 1 Anson – PSA 8, 7 Bresnahan – PSA 8, 8 Kelly – PSA 10, 9 Hanlon – PSA8, 11 Galvin – PSA 8, 14 Cobb – PSA 8.5, 18 Lajoie – PSA 8.5, 19 Young – PSA 10, 21 – PSA 8 and 22 – PSA 8.
