Presented here is an impressive partial set from the popular 1961 Topps Football issue, a high-grade accumulation of the historic issue that features Topps’ first inclusion of American Football League players in a bold design of vivid background colors that make for a dramatic presentation. This near set is missing only 25 cards and is found in a striking Excellent to Ex-Mt condition, with 16 cards reaching Near-Mint status and about a dozen falling below the range. It comes out to 68 percent Ex-Mt or Nr-Mt and 92 percent Excellent or better, a truly imposing array of a truly classic Topps issue.
