Presented here is a great example of the third year of the four-year run of Philadelphia Gum cards picturing the National Football League players. This is a strong compilation of truly nice condition cards from that important offering, a mostly Excellent to Excellent to Mint grouping, with some cards above and below the range, cards generally in a nicer condition than this issue is typically found in older collections. The emphasis is clearly Excellent and comprises an overall highly consistent and uniform presentation, with good color and gloss and decent centering. The six missing numbers are: Nos. 44, 46, 78, 83, 115 and 118.
