Presented here is an almost unimprovable example of the popular 1971 O-Pee-Chee Canadian Football League complete set. The unique issue, with the blazing red borders, nice gloss and consistent overall presentation, is essentially Near-Mint to Mint condition, with a few Near-Mint examples and a couple of Ex-Mt’s, largely because of the full-bleed red borders that so easily reveal even the slightest touches of wear. The key card in the issue – the first-ever professional card of NFL legend Joe Theismann, is found here in the same breathtaking Near-Mint to Mint condition as the larger group.
