This March 24, 1972 issue of LIFE Magazine features Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar squaring off, with both players signing in black Sharpie. Chamberlain's signature is flawless, while Abdul-Jabbar's signature is "8-9" but more than makes up for it since he signed his full name instead of the more common "Abdul-Jabbar" version.
