This is a large grouping of vintage Topps football cards that is loaded with Hall of
Famers (42) and stars and features cards primarily from the 1950’s and 1970’s. The condition range is broadly Very Good to Excellent for the earlier years, generally the 1950’s and 1960’s, and perhaps Excellent to Ex-Mt or even better for the 1970’s and later. Here’s the breakdown: 1957 Topps (5) – No. 13, 20 Creekmur, 26 Matson, 50 and 80; 1958 Topps (2) – No. 3 Schmidt and 7; 1960 Topps No. 104; 1970 Topps (2) – No. 55 Nitschke and 177; 1971 Topps (7), including Page, Tarkenton (Good), Wilson, Blanda, Houston and Olsen; 1972 Topps (18), including Brown, Buoniconti, Tarkenton, Warfield, Olsen, Wilson, Jackie Smith, Eller, Griese (Good), Alworth, Adderly and Csonka; 1973 Topps (3) – including Eller and Jackie Smith; 1974 Topps (6) – including Page, Eller, Dierdorf and Wehrli; 1976 Topps (5), including Wehrli, 1977 Topps (7) – including Largent rookie, Warfield and five checklists; 1978 Topps (4) – including Tarkenton, Krause and Yary; 1979 Topps (25), with Dierdorf (2); 1980 Topps Bradshaw and 1982 Topps Hamm. Also included in the lot: 1964 Philadelphia Gum cards (2) of Hornung and Lane (Ex-Mt) and nine modern cards (Nr-Mt or better) of Randy Moss (8) and Kurt Warner.
