This lot offers two single-signed, game-used baseballs from David Ortiz' final season. One ball is from a Sept. 28, 2016 game between the Red Sox and Yankees and the other is from a Sept. 29, 2016 game between the same two teams. Ortiz was the batter for one of the balls, fouling a ball back to the screen in the 4th inning, while Gary Sanchez was the batter of the other ball, also fouling it back to the screen. Both carry Steiner holograms and full LOAs, along with Fanatics and MLB holograms affixed near the label. The final item in this lot is a crystal baseball paper weight, which contains game-used Fenway Park dirt from Ortiz' final season.
