This lot offers four signed boxing prints from artist Murray Tinkelman, with Muhammad Ali, Willie Pep, Jake LaMotta and Carmen Basilio. Each is signed by the boxer in blue Sharpie and the artist in pencil, and each sequentially numbered. Ali is numbered 81/90, Pep is numbered 6/250, Basilio is numbered 38/250 and LaMotta is numbered 109/250. Tinkelman is an award-winning artist who has won gold medals from the Society of Illustrators, The New York Art Directors Club and the Society of Publications Designers. His illustrations have appeared in a variety of publications such as Atlantic Monthly, The New York Times, and The Washington Post. He has had a one-man exhibit of his baseball art at The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in 1994.
