Presented here is an attractive offering of one of the larger non-sport issues of the era, the massive 230-card 1950 Hopalong Cassidy set portrays scenes from the popular television series in cards that measure 2-by-2 5/8 inches. In all a total of 226 of the 230 cards from a complete set are presented here in binders, all in a mostly Excellent to Ex-Mt array, with the emphasis to the lower end of the scale and about four dozen cards falling below the range, mostly to VG-Ex and Very Good (about a half dozen below). The four missing cards are Nos. 122, 145, 184 and 227. In addition, there are six of the unique “Foils” that were inserted with the series, with these in mostly Good condition. At the back of the binder are another 16 cards, mostly of the legendary television cowboy, including most notably a dozen of the 1 7/8-by-2 ½-inch Post Cereal cards from 1951, mostly Good to Very Good with a couple below.
