This is a great example of the important 1952 Bowman U.S. Presidents issue, the 2 ½-by-3 ¾-inch cards that became a non-sport classic that would gain even wider popularity by later incarnations by Topps after the company bought out its rival in 1956. This specimen is a handsome Excellent to Ex-Mt, with a few below and the emphasis to Excellent, housed in eight-pocket sheets in a binder and boasting a very nice consistent look, with vivid colors and good gloss. About ½ of the array has the kind of centering that might typically prompt an upgrade, though not all of those would be severe enough to dictate a formal off-center designation. The breakdown: No. 1 – Very Good, 3 Washington – VG-Ex, 5 Jefferson – Ex, 19 Lincoln – Ex, Teddy Roosevelt – VG, 34 Franklin Roosevelt – Ex-Mt and 35 Truman – Ex.
