For non-sport enthusiasts, here’s a massive group that cries out for a good deal of examination. With an extraordinary range of topics, from presidents and James Bond to the various Kiss personnel and Charlie’s Angels, this lot could provide a boost to any number of accumulations. Of course, it’s technically not all non-sport: there are soccer cards, golf cards, boxing, Indy 500, drag racing and track and field. It’s such an enormous array that it would seem only chronological order could limit the confusion. Herewith: 1952 Bowman U.S. Presidents (24), Very Good to Excellent, with some below, including Lincoln (3), Franklin Roosevelt and Eisenhower (2); 1970 George Barris Way-Out Wheels (19), the 5 ¼-by-3 1/8-inch cards; 1975 Motorcyle Chopper cards (75); 1977 Charlie’s Angels (150), mostly Very Good to Excellent, some below; 1977 Star Wars (180), Ex-Mt to Near-Mint; 1978 KISS cards (72), generally Ex-Mt to Near-Mint; 1978 Donruss Elvis Unopened Pack (Ex); 1990 Pro Set Golf cards (12), including Nicklaus, Hope, Watson, Trevino, Palmer and (9) prototypes; 1990 Pacific Soccer (12); 1991 Ringlords Boxing (14), including Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard and Hollyfield, plus (2) 44-card boxed sets (one in original cellophane); 1996 Inkworks 007 cards (250) – Near-Mint; three Krause Publications promotional sets from Goldmine Music Nostalgia (48) and Old Cars 1946-75, two sets of (20) cards, all Near-Mint or better; plus miscellaneous cards (est. 200), including Olympics, drag racers, Indy 500, modern Gunsmoke cards, Andy Griffith, I Love Lucy, Marvel, military, Living Color, Madonna, Hendrix, M.C. Hammer, CB Stickers (32), Wacky Packages, Homer Simpson and miniature record albums (7). Whew!
