Presented here is an attractive uncut sheet of 20 cards from the unique 1959 Fleer Life of Ted Williams, the 80-card issue focused entirely on the great slugger, who had signed an exclusive five-year contract with Fleer at the end of a five-year run of being portrayed on Topps cards from 1954-58. This 20-card sheet is in essentially Very Good condition, from fairly subtle creases that touch only five of the 20 cards pictured. The card numbers featured on the sheet include: No. 7, 9, 11, 13, 24, 26, 28, 30, 39, 41, 43, 45, 56, 58, 60, 62, 71, 73, 75 and 77. The five cards affected by the creases are 7, 9, 73, 75 and 77. All in all, a very nice presentation of an important artifact from one of the most prominent players of the postwar era, and an uncut sheet of a key Fleer issue found here in markedly better condition that these sheets are typically found.
