This is a truly impressive grouping of the popular mid-1960’s Topps baseball issue, a sparkling Excellent to Ex-Mt array that includes Hall of Famers, All-Stars, stars and specials among its rank. The emphasis is toward the upper end of the spectrum – Ex-Mt – and there are even quite a few Near-Mint cards included in the mix. Along with the Hall of Famers listed below, there are a total of 14 team cards, four Combination cards, a League Leader and a Checklist, plus one card from the difficult high number series. This lot represents a good opportunity to pick up just under half of the complete set and a number of important cards. The breakdown: No. 37 Herman – Ex-Mt, 70 Schoendienst – Ex, 90 Aparicio – Nr-Mt o/c, 290 Santo – Ex, and 420 Marichal – Ex o/c.
