This is a fascinating lot of nice condition examples of the iconic Sports Illustrated magazines and its counterpart Sport Magazine, the colorful treasures that provided a window into the sports and heroes of earlier generations. The lot boasts almost four dozen SI’s and 32 of the famed Sport Magazine, the very same issue that delighted fans with full-bleed, full color photos in every issue, along with the great journalism in both magazines from the great sportswriters of the era. The Sport Magazines offered here are in truly exemplary condition, essentially Excellent to Ex-Mt, with some real blazers in the group that edge toward Near-Mint status, all with stunning color photography on the covers.
