Presented here is a great example of the attractive 1957 Topps Planes issue, offered here in the much rarer Red Back version. The standard-size cards feature dramatic color depictions of planes from around the world, with this example being a blazing Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt condition, with some below and the emphasis to Ex-Mt, boasting decent centering and a number of cards that reach Near-Mint status. This is a really clean and impressive presentation of a truly important non-sport classic, which was produced in two series, with the second series being much rarer than the first 60 numbers. This specimen is housed in nine-pocket sheets in a binder and boasting a very nice consistent look, with vivid colors and good gloss. The three missing numbers: 8, 53 and 119.
