Presented here is a high-grade example of the 1959 Topps Fabian non-sport offering, the card set that presumably was quite popular with the very same teenaged girls who swooned over this particular crooner. This is an extremely attractive mostly Near-Mint set, with a couple reaching Ex-Mt and in a specimen housed in nine-pocket sheets in a binder and boasting very uniform presentation, with sharp photo registration, good color and gloss. About 1/3 of the array has the kind of centering that might typically prompt an upgrade, though not all of those would be severe enough to dictate a formal off-center designation.
