From the famed 19th century Old Judge Series comes this handsome example of Sy Sutcliffe of Cleveland. He was a fine hitter and played for seven major league teams in eight seasons before dying at age 30 from Bright’s disease. While principally a catcher, he also played the outfield, first base and shortstop, and finished his shortened career with a .288 lifetime average. The card offered here is in an SGC 30 holder, with only some slight fading of the image and a strong overall presentation.
