Offered here are 21 cards from the 1952 Mother’s Cookies issue, including Hall of Famer Mel Ott. The unique 2 13/16-by-3 1/2-inch cards portray Pacific Coast League Players and were issued with packages of cookies, with a total of 64 comprising a complete set in 1952. The cards, with elegant pastel backgrounds in several colors and full-bleed borders that make them particularly condition sensitive, also have rounded corners and a very imposing and distinctive presentation. The grouping is a very handsome accumulation, essentially Excellent to Ex-Mt, headlined by Mel Ott and Lefty O-Doul (both Ex-Mt). The roster: Nos. 6, 10, 14, 25 O’Doul, 26, 28, 31, 32 Ott, 33 (2), 38, 39, 44, 45, 49, 50, 53, 55, 57, 61 and 63.
