Presented here is a nice, consistent complete set of the popular 1959 Topps issue, arguably one of the greatest and most popular sets from the Golden Age of Baseball Cards in the 1950’s. The offered set is in an attractive, collectible grade, primarily Very Good to Ex-Mt condition, with the emphasis to Excellent and the Hall of Famers and stars generally conforming to the broader range. About ¼ of the set is Ex-Mt or better, and roughly 65 percent Excellent or better, with 30 percent Very Good or VG-Ex and only about 5 percent below VG. The two keys from the issue – the No. 10 Mickey Mantle and No. 514 Bob Gibson Rookie – are in PSA 4 holders.
