Chick Evans was the first golf amateur to win the U.S. Open and U.S. Amateur championships in the same year as he accomplished that feat in 1916. This album page is from April 9, 1931 and the autograph is graded a 7 by PSA/DNA. The page reads: "I sliced my first paragraph, hooked my second, was trapped in my third but I holed a long putt on the concluding green thanks to Bill Hay and Marietta Crawford." The back of the page is titled to Edward Davis of Illinois on August 24, 1931.
