He’s the most coveted player of the postwar era and this is an eclectic array of interesting Mickey Mantle items dating from over four decades. It is headlined by a 1964 Topps Giant Mantle in a handsome PSA 6 holder; the other career-contemporary card is the 1969 Topps Checklist No.412 that features Mantle’s mugshot and boasts an Ex-Mt presentation. A 1977 Sportcaster card featuring Mantle and his teammate Roger Maris, is in a sparkling Near-Mint condition and a 1978 TCMA 1960’s Set of No. 262 Mantle is in a BCCG 9 holder. The modern items include: the 1992 Pinnacle Mickey Mantle box set (30 cards), offered here Mint in original box with cellophane intact; a pair of 1993 Upper Deck Triple Folders cards – Nos. 141 and 154 – are Near-Mint to Mint or better; and a 1993 Upper Deck Heroes of Baseball Salute (with DiMaggio and Williams), 3 ¾-by-5 ¼-inch card with BAT Schedule on the back – VG-Ex.
