One of the more intriguing peripheral issues during the giddy decade of the 1970’s, the 3 ½-by-2 ½-inch cloth stickers feature a fabric rendition of a Topps “card” with a paper backing portraying 55 of the top stars of the day. The lineup includes the likes of Bench, Brett, Carew, Carlton, Jackson, Morgan, Munson, Palmer, Rose, Ryan, Schmidt, Seaver, Yastrzemski and Yount, to name a few. This particular accumulation is in outstanding condition, essentially Ex-Mt to Near-Mint, with the emphasis to the upper end of the scale, and with almost none of the dreaded fraying of the delicate stitching that commonly troubles this issue.
