This ticket stub is for Game 3 of the 1942 World Series at Yankee Stadium. Those in attendance were treated to a pitcher's duel, with Ernie White throwing a complete game shutout in leading his Cardinals to a 2-0 win over the Yankees and Spud Chandler, who pitched eight innings of three-hit ball with only one earned run. Joe DiMaggio and Phil Rizzuto each got a couple hits, while Stan Musial and Enos Slaughter each got one hit for the Cards. The ticket arrives in VG condition and would look nice in a PSA slab.
