This is a huge array of Topps football cards from 1975-79, a group that includes more than 265 Hall of Famers, along with a similar number of stars and specials, most in a very collectible condition. There are varying degrees of duplication in this near-1,000-card array, often of HOFers, stars and many of the specials. Here’s the breakdown chronologically: 1975 Topps (181), Very Good to Excellent, some above and a few below, with a little duplication, including 26 HOFers, 20 All Pros, seven Highlights and five League Leaders – Simpson (VG), Griese, Harris, Greene (2), Tarkenton (Fair), Smith, Page, Eller, Blanda (3), Barney, Buoniconti, Lanier, Guy, Blount, Taylor, Foreman, Dawson, Pearson RC (2), Stabler, Biletnikoff, Houston and Stenerud; 1976 Topps (217), Excellent to Ex-Mt, some above and below with emphasis to Ex-Mt and some duplication, including 38 HOFers, six Record Breakers, three League Leaders, two Team Checklists – Staubach (4, Good, VG, VG-Ex and Ex-Mt o/c), Griese (2), Tarkenton (2, one is Poor), Greene, Dawson (Good), Csonka, Marshall, Warfield, Dierdorf, Blanda, Taylor, Blount (2), Jones (VG), Foreman, Stabler (2), Little, Joiner (2), Fouts, Swann, Theismann and Plunkett (4); 1977 Topps (135), Excellent to Ex-Mt, some above and below with emphasis to Ex-Mt and a number of Near-Mint cards with some duplication, including 55 Hall of Famers, six Record Breakers, four League Leaders, and three Team Checklist, including Payton (2, Ex), Staubach (Ex), Simpson (Ex), Bradshaw (2, Ex), Casper RC (VG), Griese (2), Greene (4), Tarkenton (4), Harris (3), Carson RC (3), Warfield (3), Swann, Page, Shell, Fouts, Eller (2), Blount, Little, Joiner (3), Ham, Stabler (3), Marshall, Webster, Dierdorf, White, Riggins (2), Selmon, Hannah, Upshaw, Houston, Greenwood, Stenerud and Jones; 1978 Topps (370), Excellent to Ex-Mt, some above and below (a substantial number fall below Ex) with emphasis to Ex-Mt and quite a bit of duplication, including 120 Hall of Famers, 10 Super Bowl, four League Leaders, 46 Team Leaders – Payton (4, Ex, VG and two Good), Dorsett RC (3, VG), Joiner (9), Csonka (6), Eller (6), Tarkenton (5), Stenerud (5), White (5), Marshall (5), Biletnikoff (5), Greenwood(4), Selmon (4), Little (4), Largent (4), Shell (4) and many others; and 1979 Topps (54), Mostly better condition than earlier years, Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt, with some below, with 26 Hall of Famers – Payton (Good), Bradshaw (Ex-Mt), Staubach (5, three Near-Mint, Ex-Mt and Ex), White (4), Tarkenton, Stallworth (2), and Carson (2).
