From the historically important inaugural 1948 Bowman Basketball issue comes this imposing dozen cards, headlined by the always difficult No. 1 card in what is the first-ever hoops issue, thus technically making every card in the set a Rookie. The cards are 2 1/16-by-2 ½ inches; this accumulation is in many instances quite a bit better than these cards are typically found in older collections. The breakdown: No. 1 Caverley – presents Excellent, but has slightly clipped single corner, 6 – VG-Ex, 7 – Ex, 8 – Ex, 9 Philip – VG, 16 – VG-Ex, 24 – VG-Ex, 33 – Ex, 35 – Ex-Mt m/c, 36 – Ex-Mt o/c, 41 – VG and 59 –Good.
