This is an extraordinary accumulation of important Topps basketball cards almost evenly divided between 1971, 1975 and 1980 and including an amazing number of Hall of Famers, along with major and minor stars and specials. A general assessment of condition by year is included, along with a listing of some of the most important cards, plus some condition exceptions that land outside the broader range. The breakdown: 1971-72 Topps (154) – 16 HOFers, seven League Leaders and five specials, mostly Excellent with some above and below, including Baylor (VG-Ex), Haywood (VG-Ex), West (VG-Ex), Murphy (VG-Ex), Walker, Unseld (Ex-Mt), Hawkins (VG), Mullins (VG-Ex), Goodrich (VG-Ex), Monroe, Thurmond (VG), Beaty (VG-Ex), Daniels (Good) and Dampier; 1975-76 Topps (105) – seven HOFers, 10 Team Leaders, three League Leaders and 10 Team cards, mostly Ex-Mt with a few Excellent, including Lanier, Gilmore, Hawkins Dampier, Murphy and White; and 1980-81 Topps (150) – the unique 3-in-1 issue boasts more than 80 HOFers in various configurations, Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint or better, including four Birds, four Ervings, eight Abdul-Jabbars, two Magic and two Maravich.
