Presented here is a really nice partial set from the famed 1954 Topps Baseball issue, at Very Good to Ex-Mt in a condition that is markedly better than these classics are typically found in mature collections. This partial set is missing only 18 cards, but admittedly some of the AWOL subjects are among the keys. Still, this is a wonderful opportunity to nearly complete this coveted set in a handsome overall presentation that comes out to roughly 20 percent Ex-Mt or better and the remainder VG-Ex and below. Nine Hall of Famers headline: No. 3 Irvin – Ex-Mt, 13 Martin VG-EX, 17 Rizzuto – Ex, 32 Snider - Ex-Plus, 36 Wilhelm – Ex-Mt, 37 Ford – Ex-Mt, 45 Ashburn – Vg-Ex, 70 Doby – Ex, 86 Herman – VG, 183 Combs – VG-Ex, and 239 Skowron Rookie – VG-Ex.
