Presented here is a really nice grouping of Topps baseball cards from primarily 1959-68, with a relatively wide condition range from year to year but literally hundreds of nice condition cards, complete with more than five dozen Hall of Famers, stars and Specials of every description. A large and really nice 1959 group (286) includes a number of Hall of Famers and a host of Specials and is broadly Excellent to Near-Mint, with the emphasis to Ex-Mt; there are smaller arrays from 1961 and 1965-68, with the array from 1966 forward perhaps a whisper lower than the earlier years, perhaps closer to Very Good to Ex-Mt, with some above and below. A smaller group from 1963 is in even better condition and boasts a similarly impressive roster, including HOFers and Specials. There is another large group of more almost 200 cards from 1968, including more than a dozen HOFers and many Specials. The yearly breakdown: 1959 Topps (100) – Very Good to Ex-Mt or better, four HOFers (Schoendienst, Slaughter, Cepeda, Mazeroski), Spahn and Skowron All-Stars, stars, Rookies and Team cards; 1961 Topps (156) – broadly Excellent to Ex-Mt, with some above and below, including cards of Spahn, Bunning, Aparicio and Herzog, plus 10 from the MVP subset – Shantz (2), Rosen, Jensen, Fox, Konstanty (2), Sauer, Newcombe and Aaron (Ex-Mt) – plus four Team cards and a Checklist (marked); 1963 Topps (47) – most are a nice Ex-Mt, some Nr-Mt, including Roberts, Kaline, five League Leaders and four Checklist; 1964 Topps (67) – most are Ex to Ex-Mt or better, with some below, including Drysdale, Howard, Fox, Wilhelm, Killebrew, Aparicio, four Teams and several other specials; 1965 Topps (57) – most are Ex to Ex-Mt, with some below, including Morgan Rookie (Fair) and two Specials; 1966 Topps (61) – VG to Ex stars and commons Ex to Ex-Mt or better, including Morgan, Herman, Torre and Bunning; 1967 Topps (179) – Good to Ex, including Perry, Sutton, Killebrew, Perez, Marichal, McCovey, Drysdale and Aparicio; 1968 Topps (179) - stars Good to VG-Ex, commons a bit nicer at Very Good to Ex-Mt, including Kaline, Marichal, Mathews, Cepeda, Gibson, Niekro, Killebrew, Howard, Bunning, Morgan, Hodges, Hunter, Palmer, four All-Stars, eight League Leaders, four Checklists and five World Series cards, two League Leaders and two Teams; a 1976 Hostess Aaron (Nr-Mt) and 1977 Hostess cards of Reggie Jackson and Tom Seaver (both Nr-Mt), and assorted mostly 1970’s Topps (52), including a 1970 Topps Brock (VG-Ex), 1971 Topps Seaver (VG-Ex) and 1973 Topps Yastrzemski (Ex).
