Presented here is a highly collectible example of one of Topps greatest efforts in the late 1960’s, the colorful 1967 Baseball issue that boasts some of the finest photography the company ever produced, presented in a clean, simple design that captivated collectors. Even with three dozen cards AWOL, including four keys and about two dozen of the difficult high numbers, the offering boasts an imposing pedigree for a near-complete set. Overall, it ends up with a broad grade of Excellent to Ex-Mint, with the emphasis falling into the Ex-Mt category, and a few below, along with about three dozen that reach Near-Mint status. The cards have a nice uniform presentation, with excellent photo registration and color intensity, good centering and gloss. A roster of the missing numbers appears at the end of this listing.
