Here are a pair of stunning 1976 Hostess Baseball uncut sheets, resplendent in their red, white and blue color scheme that celebrated that giddy Bicentennial season. The sheets are in outstanding condition and showcase 159 cards from the legendary 150-card set that was issued in three-card panels on the bottom of family-sized boxes of various Hostess snack cakes. The sheets measure 28-by-41 inches, with a total of 90 cards on the first sheet (Ex-Mt condition) and a total of 69 on the second (Excellent). Three important unissued proofs are included in the sheets: the Ron Cey reversed negative and Andy Messersmith and Johnny Briggs. Hall of Famers on Sheet No. 1 include Fisk, Rose, Winfield, Schmidt, Stargell, Perez, Aaron, Ryan, Yount, Morgan, Niekro, Carew, Bench, Perry, Seaver, Brooks Robinson, Munson and Brock; Sheet No. 2 includes Reggie Jackson, Carlton, Hunter, Yastrzemski, Jenkins, Rice, Palmer, Brett, Carter, Fingers, McCovey and Blyleven.
