Offered is a signed Willie McCovey Murray Tinkelman original illustraion. McCovey signed this illustration with an orange marker. This print depicts McCovey on his 1978 Topps baseball card. Tinkelman is an award-winning artist who has won gold medals from the Society of Illustrators, The New York Art Directors Club and the Society of Publications Designers. His illustrations have appeared in a variety of publications such as Atlantic Monthly, The New York Times, and The Washington Post. He has had a one-man exhibit of his baseball art at The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in 1994.
