Sammy Sosa first started hitting home runs at a good clip during the 1993 season, before eventually embarking on a career that would end with 609 home runs. This lot includes a Louisville Slugger bat from 1993 that was used during batting practice at some point in that season. This bat comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA. The bat is un-cracked with evidence of heavy use. There is some grain swelling from repeated contact, which is visible on the front barrel. There are small chips in the "Sosa" on the barrel brand. Sosa's "21" is written on the knob and top barrel in black marker and tape has been removed from the barrel and a shadow of the tape application is still visible.
