This 8.5x11 original illustration features Joe McCarthy and was drawn by Murray Tinkelman. The illustration is unsigned, but is matted with an index card signed by McCarthy centered on the bottom. Tinkelman is an award-winning artist who has won gold medals from the Society of Illustrators, The New York Art Directors Club and the Society of Publications Designers. His illustrations have appeared in a variety of publications such as Atlantic Monthly, The New York Times, and The Washington Post. He has had a one-man exhibit of his baseball art at The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in 1994.
