David DeJesus went 2-for-4 with a run scored as the Royals lost to the Cleveland Indians 10-6 on August 24, 2009. DeJesus wore this Negro League Style Kansas City Monarchs jersey for the game. This AIS size 46 jersey does have a little bit of wear evident most notably on the right side of the jersey near the buttons. There also is a small stain spot on the left side of the jersey below the "n" in Monarchs and on the lower half of the button area. There also is some staining on the "c" in Monarchs. DeJesus also signed the back of the jersey with a silver sharpie. This jersey has been authenticated by MLB with hologram number LH555913.
