Former Mets reliever J.J. Puts had a scoreless inning while wearing this jersey on April 15, 2009. This jersey was worn for Jackie Robinson Day as all players wore 42 as a tribute to the legend. There is a nameplate with the number “22” in the inner collar of the jersey. There is an Inaugural Season 2009 patch on the left sleeve to commemorate the first year of Citi Field. On the right sleeve, is the traditional Mets logo patch. There also is hologram LH18812 affixed on the “2” in 42. There is some light wear on the back right shoulder as well.
