Featured is a signed United States Senate letter signed by Charles Curtis, a then-Senator who went on to become Vice President. This letter was typed March 17, 1922 to Emma Hammel of Kansas City, Missouri with regards to take the claim to the Commissioner of Indian Affairs. Curtis signed the letter with black ink. This item also includes three black and white photos from the 1934 Olympics when V.P. Curtis represented the US in officially opening the games in Los Angeles.
