Presented here is a nice array of 1910 American Tobacco Co. Indian Chiefs and College Felt Silks, a grouping that includes four from the popular Tokio Cigarettes Series. There are four of the 1910 College Felt Silks featuring Cornell, Columbia, John Hopkins and Yale. The eight American Tobacco Silks are headlined by four from Tokio Cigarettes, with the 2 1/8-by-3 ¼-inch silks in broadly Good to Very Good condition, with some fraying of the delicate edges. Three of the four Tokio Cigarettes are from the numbered series: No. 10 Great War Chief; No. 44 Spotted Tail; and No. 46 Man and Chief. The unnumbered Tokio Silk is Big Razor. The four Sovereign Cigarettes Silks are headlined by the key Red Cloud (Good), plus Young Whirlwind, Agate Arrow Point and Red Shirt. The four 1910 College Felt Silks (2 3/8-by-3 ¾ inches) are generally Very Good, with the Yale Felt Silk undersized and cut down to Poor condition with border areas missing.
