Graded NM/MT+ 8.5 by SGC. One of only two examples graded at this level by SGC with none graded higher! Extremely striking ultra high-grade example of one of Ty Cobb's most sought-after cards. Bright and clean, both front and back, beautifully centered (slightly toward the bottom right), with crisp, bold printing on front and reverse, and sharp corners. The Sport Kings is one of Cobb's most popular and majestic cards. Being the No.1 card in the set, this card naturally gravitated to the top of the stack, exposing it to extra wear and handling, and thus making high-grade examples even more difficult to find than most other Sport Kings and other Cobb cards. This is an extremely attractive ultra high-grade example of one of Cobb's most classic cards.
