Presented is a remarkable grouping of unopened packs from Topps, Fleer, Donruss and other manufacturers, with the legendary Phillie featured in each and every one, in most instances showing on the front in cellos or racks. It’s the kind of collection that is difficult to amass and likely required decades of vigilance and perseverance, to say nothing of moola. The packs are typically largely as issued, generally Near-Mint or in some cases better, with a few below but overall a simply outstanding tribute to one of the greatest players of the 1970s and 1980s. In the listing that follows, Schmidt is on either the front or back usually with his regular-issue card showing; in instances where a different Schmidt card shows (ie. All-Stars and Specials) it is noted. Unless otherwise indicated, the packs default to showing his regular-issue card on the front of the pack.
