An amazing 35 signatures grace this 1949 New York Yankees signed Official American League baseball. The World Champion 1949 Yankees finished the season one game ahead of the Boston Red Sox to secure their 16th American League pennant and then went on to win the World Series, defeating the Brooklyn Dodgers in 5 games. The baseball remains in vg/ex condition and is lightly shellacked. The Joe DiMaggio and Casey Stengel signatures are deemed to be clubhouse, although the DiMaggio looks remarkably close to his signature that appears on baseballs that have sold for many of thousands more. As it stands this is a great opportunity to acquire this period signed baseball of the World Champion 1949 Yankees at a fraction of the record prices paid for other Yankee team signed balls from the era.
