Offered is an impressive partial set of 1974 Topps Baseball, missing 120 cards and including 159 autographs, with a condition range of essentially Excellent to Near-Mint, with some below and with the emphasis probably to Ex-Mt. Also included in the lot are the satellite issues of the 44-card Traded set (36 of the 44 cards) and the 24-card Team Checklists. In addition, the lot includes four of the difficult Washington variations. The 159-card grouping of signed cards includes many important stars of the era, with nine of the autographs coming on the Traded subset cards. The 1974 Topps Baseball set is one of the iconic issues of the era, marking the Topps switch from offering cards by series released over the course of the spring and summer to printing and issuing the entire set at one time. The Traded partial set, the Checklists and the four Washington variations conform to the broader condition range.
