This lot offers eight game-used bats from 1970s St. Louis Cardinals players, including Al Hrabosky, Garry Templeton, Terry Kennedy, George Hendrick, Ken Oberkfell, Ken Reitz and Mike Tyson (2). The breakdown is as follows: Hrabosky - Louisville Slugger model K55 with medium use, white paint on the end of the barrel, light handle crack and tape removal from the handle; Kennedy - Louisville Slugger model K75 with medium use and a light coat of pine tar on the handle, along with a black marker solid circle on the end of the knob; Templeton - Adirondack model 369A two-tone with light use and Templeton's signature on the barrel and a "1" in black marker at the end of the knob; Hendrick - Louisville Slugger model M253 with light use and "30" on the end of the barrel and end of knob; Reitz - Louisville Slugger model C235, signed on the barrel and including a custom tape job on the handle with heavy use and "44" on the end of the knob in black marker; Oberkfell - Louisville Slugger model K55 with light use in the form of bat rack marks on the back of the barrel and "10" on the end of the knob in black marker; Tyson (2), with both Louisville Slugger and including "10" on the end of the knob in black marker, with one showing light use and the other showing heavy use with a heavy coat of pine tar on the handle and a large handle crack and custom tape job at the base of the knob.
