Presented is an exceptionally high-grade example of an important mid-1960s football card issue, the 1967 Philadelphia Gum set that depicted players from the National Football League at a time when Topps had stepped back from the veteran circuit to focus for several years on the fledgling American Football League. The offered set is a superb specimen, basically a Near-Mint monster, with a significant number of cards reaching above the range to Nr-Mt to Mt and only a few below, mostly to Ex-Mt.
