Presented is an essentially as-issued and unimprovable monster, the 1987 Fleer Basketball set, found here in easily Near-Mint or Near-Mint to Mint or better, with the emphasis to the upper end of the spectrum, and boasting blazing color and gloss and good centering. The two key pieces in the group are third-party slabbed and graded, with the No. 59 Jordan card a BGS 8.5 and the Jordan No. 2 Sticker a BGS 8. In short, this a spectacular example of the important 1987 issue, Fleer’s second issue after returning to NBA card production that helped usher in the phenomenal growth of the genre over the last three decades. Also included is the unique 11-card Sticker set, presented in the same pristine fashion as the regular-issue card set.
