Presented is a fabulous piece of NHL memorabilia with at least a whiff of Hollywood, a game-worn St. Louis Blues jersey attributed to legendary enforcer Jack “Killer” Carlson, fully 1/3 of the infamous crew that was thought to be the inspiration for the Hanson Brothers in the iconic “Slapshot” feature film. Tagging is absent from this remarkable jersey, though remnants remain at the collar. Shirt shows a few stick and puck marks and some minor team repairs and has the fight strap intact, which seems apropos for a player with this particular reputation. Carlson played six seasons in the NHL, including two for St. Louis between 1982-84.
