Here are nine blazing cards from the fabled 1953 Topps Baseball set, all in Near-Mint or better condition, with eight of the nine cards quite properly entombed in striking SGC holders. A single card – and a mighty important one at that – turns up in its natural raw state: No. 280 Frank Bolling is a solid Near-Mint as well. For those of you keeping score at home, that’s the card-collecting Trifecta: his Rookie card, a Short-print and the final card in the issue. Here’s the slabbed lineup: No. 18 – SGC 84, No. 19 – SGC 88, No. 40 – SGC 88, No. 49 – SGC 86, No. 55 – SGC 86, No. 63 – SGC 86, No. 69 – SGC 86, and No. 248 – SGC 86.
