Offered are two Hal Smith bats, one from each of the "Hal Smiths", both dating to the 1950s. The P89 signature model has a 12" handle crack and once belonged to 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates World Champion Harold W. Smith.The M117 block letter bat has a 6" handle crack and was used by St. Louis Cardinal All-Star Harold R. Smith. Both bats show nice use in the form of ball and ball stitch marks on the barrel.
